STEP ONE
ENROLLED AT A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY
One or more of the founding partners for each venture must be an enrolled student in a recognized college or university.
STEP TWO
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Each social venture at the Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge is grounded in at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Aligning with the SDGs ensures that social ventures are addressing pressing social or environmental challenges that have a far-reaching impact.
STEP THREE
INNOVATIONS READY TO IMPLEMENT
Every venture should be well past the ideation stage. Ventures should have gone through an incubator, accelerator, or at least one business pitch competition (even if it's just one at their university) before applying to the competition. They should demonstrate innovation, feasibility, potential impact, and most importantly, the passion and drive of the team behind the venture.
